Do you belive that there is life on other planets? I do. I'm not saying that we have been visited by them, I haven't decided about that yet, although I do know that there are things in the sky that I have seen and that others have seen that seem to defy rational explanation, but aside from that, so you think that we are alone in the cosmos or not and why?

Well in my opinion we would be foolish to think we are the only ones in the universe. Throughout history we see all kinds of writings and pictures of people or beings visiting from other places. I think that just because of the fact that we haven't found their planets we shouldn't discount their existance. There is so much out there that we don't know about.

I couldn't agree more. There are billions of planets out ther and to me, it seems a bit egotistcal to think this is the only one that could have intelligent life on it. Of course, maybe this one DOESN'T have intelligent life on it. Maybe that's the problem! HaHa!

Ya, I often imagine aliens flying around the earth, all standing around the water cooler. "Yes there's deffinately life down there..but it's not intelligent" as they zip of to their universe...lol

This topic could make a good long debate in my opinion. Personally I'm a non believer. I have never been in a position where I've had anyone explain this topic or discuss other views so for now I don't believe.

Well, I"ve waited a week and there are only two responses so, I guess we are both wrong -- it must not be a good topic for discussion! LOL

I agree. I think that there has to be other life out there somewhere. It just seems far too fantastical to assume that on the billions upon billions of planets in the universe we are the only intelligent life. Then again, maybe we aren't considered "intelligent life" by the rest of the universe. Ha ha! Who knows? Thanks for your response.

This is such an interesting topicWe can do n number of discussions.Well it would be dumb if we think we are the only one staying in this universe. We have seen ufos and there are evidences of aliens..

I'm not convinced that we have seen evidence of aliens, but I myself have seen things in the sky that I can't explain. Simce childhood I have seen such things as large orange disks, small things following airplanes, and odd looking "shapes" "floating" through that air that suddenly dissapear. I don't know if they are terrestrial or not but they certainly are unidentified -- at least to me and they were most definatly flying so...
I agree, though that it seems rather foolish to assume that we are it as far as intelligent life. Thanks for your response.
