The china governament block blog, wikipedia and a lot of site, to obscure free information, there is a site how can test if your site is blocked by chinese governament, thi site is www.greatfirewallofchina.org
mylot for example result not blocked, try it with your site

I remember hearing some time ago that if you search for images of Tiananmen Square from inside China you get standard (usually recent) pictures of the square but outside of China your search results will contain mostly images of the protests in 1989.
I remember testing this using a proxy server based in china and found it to be true at the time (some years ago) and it sounds like things haven't changed much.

this just shows that the government is really doing its best to protect its citizens from obscure websites.

Why would the do that ? Why the banned site like Wikipedia ?
I don't really agree with this information banning.
How about ou chinese people in mylot ? Have you heard this issue ?
