It is very evident that the bible tells us that we are saved by Jesus Christ on the calvary. But that was thousands of years ago. Is it still in effect at this time? Does it mean we are save right now? even if we commit crime?even if we do things not according to the will of God? There are many religion that claim and believe to this doctines...

Nope, not even ou are one reall good guy. If you read in the book of revelation, you will see that there onl few hundreds people that will be chosen to be the army of God. If you're not in the list then you will feel great pain and it's the greatest test of faith. You might wanna see "Left Behind". Find it in your local DVD or VHS rental. There already 2 movies, but I suggest you see the first one. It's describe about the revelation time, who people ar chosen and who don't.

I believe this, you must repent, confess, and be baptized for the remission of sin, put your hands on the plow and never look back.

If you confess that Jesus is your personal Saviour & that you trust & believe what the bible says you are saved. W/ that it means you must read his letter to you (the Bible) +'s 4 U :)

Yes, we are already saved but this doesn't mean that will have to do things our way even to the extent of degrading anybody else. Just live in God's way then little miracles will be still around to remind us of His presence.

No you are only saved when you ask Jesus to forgive you for your sins. You need to turn away from your old life and give it to Jesus. Even if you have never prayed before and don't lnow what to say, just say how you feel. Tell Jesus you don't know how to pray. Praying is not a religious thing where you have to always bow on your knees and give this religious seromony. Praying is talking to Jesus like He is right in front of you. Once your saved you have to confess Him as your Savior to someone. This is for your benefit. It helps you to really know you are forgiven. Being a Chrsitian is a everyday walk 24 hours a day. Not a Sunday stroll to church as some believe. And you can get out of Gods will and leave God and not even realize it and baclslide. Some people think once saved always saved, not true. If you leave God and never repent then you are no longer saved and under His grace.

I'm not religious but I do think there was a Jesus, but not the son of 'God'. However, I'm not here to bash religion. I have studied the Bible, and I think what it's trying to tell us is that a man did die he wanted to be a saviour. But the only way he could do that is to show other people his sacrifice. To be truly 'saved' you must have faith in Jesus and live your life in gratitude to him. Not to harm others and be a good Christian. If you commit a crime you are as good as spitting in his face showing him he doesn't mean anything to you. For his sacrifice to be effective today, only you can make sure you live how he wanted you to. It's up to you.
