how do you impress someone?

do you know how to impress a person? for example you admire someone special, how would you impress her or get his/her attention turn to you? are you professional in doing so?

When I want to impress my love ones, I will buy them flowers and a box of chocolate. I will take her out and make a surprise candle light dinner.

me too, im not into impressing people. it's up to them to get to know and like me. same way that if i like a person, i'll get to know him/her and see if we can be good friends. i wouldnt go into trouble of doing anything just so a person will like me.
