Winter seems to drag on forever!!. Even though we have had a few nice days so far. it's still winter. I am not crazy about winter. I usually just go into hibernation mode. Then when we get some nice days I'll go out and about. What are some things that you do to beat the winter blahs?

Well I love all the seasons and appreciate them all the same as well, but the end of bothe summer and winter I am very ready for a change. Winter does seem to drag on though, so what I do is make the most of indoor time! My kids and I watch a lot of movies, drink a lot of hot chocolate, and play games and stuff together. When we have warmer winter days, I try to take them out to play too. Now that spring is almost here (and California weather has been spectacular!) we will be planning trips to the park, bbq's outside and things like that.

Keeping myself busy, like going to the gym five times a week, it has fought off the cold and flu germs, since going to the gym I've haven't had any (touch wood) cold and flu periods, I must sweat the germs out in my work outs! I do tend to stay in more at nights, where it's warm and I can watch films and relax in the comfort of my own home. It is virtually Spring here in the UK, I've been able to put my washing on the line, kept the door open for most of the day, and the nights are drawing out!

Today the spring has really come to Denmark, the sun is shinning and it's not that cold, even though I wouldn't like to go outside without my jacket. I really hate winter too.

Not sure I have an answer to this, today the sun is shining and I'm just thankful for that - 9 days straight of no blue skies was really depressing. Now, next step is temperatures warm enough to actually go outside without an extra 20 pounds of cloths. I dream alot, that's how I get through these days, dream of spring, warm sunshine, new buds, and life outside again.
