Jose Mourinho believes his player proved they have the character to win the Champion League after fighting back against Porto to reach the quarter-finals.
Mourinho's side were facing a shock exit at half time of their second round, second leg clash on Tuesday after Ricardo Quaresma's goal left them trailing 2-1 on aggregate.
But Mourinho used his half-time pep talk to challenge his team to show they had the mental strength to cope with adversity and they responded with a memorable fightback.
"it was a good reaction from the team, " Mourinho said.
"they way we played in the second half it was natural we won. In the first half I was cool because we have experience in these big matches.
"i had a difficult half time because we were out at that moment. Psychologically i made them think a little bit. I told them we are out of the competition, so what do we do?En joy it on or be scared of it?
"If we are scared we are out, if we can enjoy then let's play and enjoy being under pressure.Sometimes it is possible to enjoy these moments and show our quality. The reaction was very positive. We had a strong mentality in the second half."

I too am very impressed by the chracter and resilience that Chelsea have shwon in their past few games, especially against tottenham over the weekend because its something very hard to comeback from 3-1 down, and this just goes to show that chelsea has the quality to win and we wil win.
