Heidi vs Lauren and vice versa

Ok hear me out before you start throwing things at me
I know there is a lot of chatter about how Heidi is treating Lauren and how she is such an awful friend etc etc Though I agree Hiedi is acting foolish and not being the best friend she once was I have to ask...
What in this situation is different than how Lauren acted when she was with Jason and Heidi told her NOT to be? Yes we all see Spencer is a slimeball BUT we also have to remember we only see what MTV wants us to see. Out of the many many hours of what is done in their lives we get 30 minutes a week of it. I am sure there is MUCH more behind the scenes that we are not privy to. Yes I realize we all base our opinions on what we see and that is normal but the real question I think is
WHY is Heidi getting such a bad rap for doing what all 21 yr old girls do and that is follow their hearts no matter how misguided they are. The saying 'love is blind' is definitely true in a lot of instances.
Last season Lauren decided to start dating Jason again against Heidi's VALID wishes then proceeded to supposedly turn down a job offer in Paris for a guy that treated her like trash 90% of the time and MOVE OUT of the place her and Heidi are in and into a summer home with Jason.
This season it is Heidi choosing 'her man' over her friendship yet we sit and look poorly at Heidi for doing the same exact thing?
I am not pro Heidi or pro Lauren but I just dont see it as fair that we condone Heidi for following her heart and acting in the same manner quite often that Lauren did just a yr ago

I agree Heidi was being very scandalous with the Jen/Brody situation. Bailing on Lauren for movies with Spencer was explained last night on the aftershow that Lauren did in fact take longer than expected at work so she did leave a note *I* would have called but lucky for me Im not Heidi lol. As for Lauren being upset about Heidi and Spencer due to what she went through with Jason I honestly dont think it has anything to do with Jason at all. I think her opinions of Spencer are very well validated for the things he did in the beginning of their relationship. Thanks for you thoughts on this. :)

I like that even though Heidi blew off Lauren to go to the movies with Spencer, she didn't wait around and worry about it she called up Audrina and went out with her and the new guys. I have a friend that was in a similar relationship but all we could do is sit back and wait for her to realize what was going on and it did take awhile but the more you try to get a friend to leave the more they want to stay it seems. They want to change the person and that isn't going to happen unless that person wants to change. I can't wait to hear what the secret is about Heidi. Probably something random but we'll see!

Yes I loved that as well! Was good to see her go out and I was happy to see there was at least a note instead of a complete brush off.
Wonder what the note said though seeing as although Lauren did seem disappointed she didnt seem really angry
Who knows maybe the photo shoot was really late I suppose guess there are some things they just dont want us to see lol
