Sphinx

Well three years have passed since you opened this discussion so I don't know if you follow it anymore but let me tell you that there is a chamber between the front paws of he Sphynx and this chamber has been discovered by resonance //waves are being propagated into the earth and special sensors catch the reflecting waves//. Now the head itself might have soemthing inside but we are not sure as the new theory is that today's head is not the original one but it has been rebuilt with the head of a later Pharaoh. You can tell that right away because the new head is smaller in proportions to the body and secondly it is less eroded than the rest of the body. It is acutually thought that the gread flood itself caused quite a damage to the body and the Pharaoh cared only to carve his head in what remained of the original one. So...the chamber underneath the Sphynx is not accessible because the Egyptian Government won't allow the excavations. Cheers

As far as i am aware, the secret chamber is thought to lie from inside the Sphinx's left paw. Passages and false rooms may lead to a treasure of either gold or writings. There was a thought that the lost civilisation of Atlantis's documents were inside the Sphinx, but that may be the same sort of comment as a secret Italian recipe for pasta lol. One thing about the head - it's so obviously a remodelled version. Take a look at any decent pictures of the Sphinx and see the size difference of head to body, then look at the stone weathering. Yet, people seem to believe the Sphinx was carved with the Pharaoh head all at the same time. The area below the head was apparently covered with sand and the head was the only viewable part for centuries...so...how did the body suffer water damage ? The Sphinx points toward the constellation of Orion, I think it was Graham Hancock that pointed out in one of his books that (via planetary procession) the alignments of the Sphinx and the pyramids would emulate Orion's belt exactly, some 10,000 years ago ! What's the real age of these wonders ?

sorry, am not so much help on this subject. as Egyptology doesn't interest me much. but, i don't think there IS something within nor underneath the lady with the lion's body. the notion of anything being there is just TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE! should there have been anything, do u think the Brits, the french & the neglecting Egyptians would have left it alone?
