I don't know about any of you but in it's own weird way, Hugh Laurie is freaking hot! Talk about self confident, stubborn, intelligent man! Not to mention bold!!!! I enjoy watching this show because of the humor, the storyline and the things they can do now with medicine.

Hugh Laurie and Dr. House, deffinatley have a "dreamy factor". Smarts are sexy, and those blue eyes and day old stubble don't hurt either. My sister and I and a friend often get togehter to watch House on thursday nights. We are found of says "Oh....*swoon* He's so damaged." Despite all his self-confidence and being so stubbon and rough around the edges, there is definatley something about Dr. House that makes you want to take him home and feed him soup. You know, cause soup sometimes makes people feel better when they are having a bad time :-)

You're not the only one who feels that way, though he's not my type. I like confidence and intelligence, but I like a very clean-cut look and high integrity. One lady, though, used to see him on another show where he played a huge dork-like character. She can't seem him as sexy because all she can remember him from is that other show.

Dr. House is definately up there on the dreamy factor. Forget Dr. McDreamy from Grey's Anatomy, Hugh Laurie us a bit more to my taste. Maybe it's the sarcastic comments, or the way he dismisses his staff ("No, I'm the only one who gets to use the markers!"), but Twilight021 is right...you just want to do something to make him feel better. A lot of us girls just love a man who is damaged so that we can, you know, make him feel better. *wink Also, I've noticed (and I'm sure a lot of other people have too) that Hugh Laurie has really blue eyes! *swoon Regardless, House (the character) is really smart and witty, and that's appealing too. Hmmm, when I first started watching this show, I had no idea that I would get so into it.

You're right! I forgot about that role. Aww, but wasn't he cute, though? That bow tie did it for me. ;)

I think perhaps you might be mixing up the character "House" for Hugh himself. House is a sort of modern day Sherlock Holmes. Compare the two characters, and you'll see that they're quite the twins. The tortured man thing is a turn-on, too. I can give you more to chew on: Hugh starred in a comedy sketch-show that you'd love, called "A Bit of Fry and Laurie". Check out this clip: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZFD01r6erswa (Pardon if the link doesn't work, I'm new and can't paste yet. Look see Fry and Laurie in the search field at YouTube to find more.) ) He also guest starred on "Black Adder". Quite honestly I think he's probably a very quiet, sick little man. But that's how I like 'em!

I totally agree. I mean sure you have a blonde with a cute accent but Hugh Laurie is the man! His characters humor and the soft sad side he has just draws me in! And the fun thing is Hugh Laurie is british! You'd never be able to tell unless you see him on talk shows!!! ah hes so hot.

I LOVE Hugh Laurie. It totally disgusts my son, LOL. (He's 11) I love House for the humor and the "what will he do next" factor. I love Hugh Laurie for different reasons. :-)
