i think so. having a mean waitress can be very aggravating, however, waitressing is not an easy nor enjoyable job. a lot of the people you serve are jerks and you bust you butt for them and they leave you like 50 cents. maybe she was just having a bad day. when i get a bad waitress i leave a little note along with my tip in an attempt to make her smile and feel a little better. the fact that she has one arm and mental disabilities is hard on her too. she probably is being stared at and hearing others talk about her all day long.so leaving her a tip was the right thing to do.

I think you should have spoken to a manager . Let the manager know about the service you got and that you would have liked a new waitress . Maybe this person was having a really bad day , but , regardless she shouldn`t take it out on her customers , she should have asked for a time out to get her thoughts in order before she continued .
I normally tip everyone , the only time I don`t is if they ask for the tip , I find that is very rude .

Just because the waitress was handicapped, didn't give her a reason to be rude and/or impatient. I never leave a table without leaving a tip. The lowest the servers (waitress/waitors) would get is .01 cents. This .01 cents will teach them how to give quality service to customers. If it wasn't for customers, the servers wouldn't get paid. And the highest tip they would get from me is $5.00.

yeah , be nice and leave a tip anyway.
waitresses have to deal with everybody, and some people are weird and mean about their food.
my friend always has to ask 5 questions about the deserts before he even tries it. The other nighthe asked the waitress how is the pie, have you tried it, etc. She just said no I never tried it, not sure. I laughed.
Maybe that lady had to deal with hundreds of demanding folks that day, give her a break.
