My dog doesn't want to eat.

I know my friend has a little dog and when he gets clipped he goes and hides under the bed and when he does come out he looks embarrassed so maybe dogs have more feelings about some things that we realize...maybe this is your dogs way of expressing his feeings.

is this the first time you took your dog to a grooming salon? if it is, he probably had some kind of a culture shock having gone through a new experience. i also suggest that you go back to that grooming salon and ask them what they think happened to your dog. they could probably give you some info. if you can contact your vet via his cellphone, i suggest you do that, too.

I would maybe just go into the grooming salon and speak to the guys. How long is it now after he was there that he hasn't eaten. Maybe he got a bit of a fright from allt he grooming or from another dog or maybe he has caught a virus. i owuld maybe jsut go in and speak to them. What is the worst thing that can happen. Im sure if they really like animals then they will be happy to help you. Good luck anyway

my dog doesn't want to eat, too.the veterinarian said it was because of intermittent fever caused by bacterias from other dogs he played with. he is now confined in the vet clinic and is under observation. it is really disturbing and i do miss my pup.:(
