Does anyone mark bst responses?

That is too soon to mark best response. I have people that stop by and respond a few weeks into it. There are people that consider that discussion over including me. If my friends mark it that soon, I don't answer any more of their discussions. Give it time and as you get around more people will know you and find your discussions. Be sure it is a Best Response. Sometimes tough but done accordning to guidelines it gets easier. Good luck and welcome to Mylot.

I mark best response too but not after 24 hours.I believe is little time and this because i did it at the beginning and after I saw I took more responses and some of them was better than the best response.So now I give more time to my topics before I choose the best.

Of course, I always take 15-30 minutes of my time to go over responses that people left to my discussion and mark best response. I mean I appreciate the fact that people have the time to read my discussions and leave their responses and opinions on things, they also deserve to be read and chosen best response in return.

No it doesn't give people a decent amount of time to respond. Some people cant get onto myLot everyday and you have to count at least 8 of these hours are for sleep. Tonight I noticed someone who had a couple of thousand points and had been a member of myLot for months and they gave best responses 2 hours after there discussion had opened. That is so unfair. I wait at least 2 weeks that gives everyone a chance.

Yes, I mark best responses. But I only go and mark a discussion with a best response at least 3 weeks from when I started it. It gives people a better chance of seeing your discussion and responding. Only once have I marked a best responde after 24 hours, and that was in hopes people would stop resonding to this particular discussion I made. I had not expected the feedback and lashbacks.
