I really do, this is coming from the heart. Some people make fun of them and everything but, I really hate it! Its not funny at all watching others who are....well....slower than others. Especially when they talk too! Peopl make fun of them and everything! Its not really funny at all! How do you feel about this?

I never make fun of a handicap person. I have worked in facilities that house them. I have also taken care of family members who became handicap. It really bothers me also that people make fun of them. There is no excuse for it. I think that the handicap feel really bad for themselves as it is because they can no longer do some of the things we are used to doing in our every day lives. Handicap people have feelings too and they should be treated with respect.

I think it is horrible that someone can actually make fun of someone with a disability. I feel bad for them all the time. There is a family that comes to church every Sunday with their disabled daughter. The father holds her through most of the mass then the mother will hold her. Before receiving communion they fasten her back up in her chair so she can go up with them and she can receive her blessing. Everytime I see her my heart breaks and makes me even more thankful that my son was born healthy and happy. I know how lucky I am.
