Accordingly, when I was 1 yr 3 months old, my mother became sickly that she couldn't take care of me well and so they gave me to my grandmother, the mother of my father so I grew up with my grandmother's family. When I was grown-up, I took the responsibility of sending my brothers and sisters to school (we are six children, I'm the 3rd) to show that I care for them as my parents could not support my brother and sisters to go to school (I was then a working student and shared to my brothers and sisters so that we all could study). We were neighbors though so we saw each other very often and when I was a child, my father used to take me with him in fishing. My father was a very good fisherman, catching fishes with his own bare hands.

I have lived with my father until I went to high school when my sister took me to study in Manila.

I have lived with my father for a time. After college, I came to Manila and I seldom went home to the province as I got married and have a family of my own. Our province is far in the south and it's very expensive and time-consuming to go back home.
