It's hard enough being in a relationship without being in a long distance one.
I have never been in one but i believe it would work for a while cause it's all new something different. But as time goes on and your needs build up it would be harder to keep it going. You would really have to love each other be sole mates, the one for you to be dedicateed to keeping it going.I mean when your not with your long distance love their would be temptations put in your way and if your relationship isn't strong enough you may be tempted that would be the real test.
Anyway i don't fink i would ever have a long distance relationship to much hassle to much expense and to much wondering what the other is doing

Personally speaking they don't work, unless you are prepared to travel the distance often to make the relationship work then you'll just drift apart, in order to have a relationship you need to see them once a week at least! If there is too much time from one meet to the next then I can't see how you can continue to maintain a closeness, the phone is not the same and I for one would never enter a long distance relationship, definitely not for me.
