do you prefer sehwag opening n uthappa coming at one down...???

I don't think Indian team should be opening with Sehwag all the way in this world cup. Just give hime two matches as an opener, if he performs then stick with him at the top and if not then get Uthappa at the top along with Ganguly. Right now Sehwag is not in the best of form so definitely he'll try to play cautiously and that may have bad results in crucial matches where India might have to chase or put up a big score. So for now i would say try out Sehwag for a while but don't wait till the end of the world cup for him to perform.

well i think utappa and ganguly should open the innings. sachin is doing great in his current batting position. so there is no need of changing his batting position. then i think in world cup experience matters than youth. uthappa is still young. i think we should play sehwag lower down the order. i mean in slot of dinesh karthik. that is like the match against holland, if sachin and dravid can put up a descent partnership, then sehwag batting down the order is very important . if he can play a quick fire knock of 30-40 runs at slog overs, india will post huge total so that bowlers can defend it. so i think saurav and uthappa should open and sehwag should be at number6 or 7.

As I already gave my opinion in your last discussion that sehwag is more trusted batsman than anybody else ....And the time arises not to do any more experiment on Indian batting lineup..So I think Sehwag is best...

present i think there is no chance for shewag but we have to see whether he get the chance if he get so he will give opening to the team.

Sehwag is the consistent opener for the Indian Team.So he is the rigt choice to play in Wc as an opener.

no i dont agree with sehwag opening with ganguly as shhwag is out of form n moreover every team knows his weakness n no one provieds width to him on off side. i think instead of opening with sehwag, we can use sachin or uthappa as an opener. we cant gamble just by saying that he will find form in big matches

I prefer Uthappa opening the innings with Ganguly. He is our surprise element and he is doing well also. Give hime the confidence, do not disturb him too much. Karthik is a good player, but in my opinion, he should be selected only if he is going to keep wickets. Otherwise, Sehwag is a better option.

I think its better for Utthapa to open with ganguly. Sehwag is not doing great. I would put Sehwag open in the first game to the most. If he fails, then he is out. Even not giving him that chance is ok. But i don't mind giving him a chance coz if he strikes then chances are big that india win. However, there have been more than 50 matches that indian team is hoping like that.
