He is quite a capable leader, though not as far-sighted and brave like Tun Dr Mahathir.
Mahathir is well-known for his outspoken style and his daring ambition. He managed to transform Malaysia and bring forth a wave of industrialisation into the country. His actions and policies drew a lot of criticisms, but without him, Malaysia would be another tiny country without any achievements.
Pak Lah, on the other hand, is a gentle-spoken and not a visionary leader. He leads by example, which is good and has its own values. He stresses the importance of agriculture and embarks on his policies to revive the agricultural sector to add value to it.
His brainchild - the iskandar development region, would draw a lot of investors. Let's see how it turns out first. I have quite a good feeling about it, and his move to develop southern Johor is a great tactical plan to gain an advantage over Singapore.

He is not an outspoken one, I am sure. But, I realised that he had made some smart moves. I cant give examples of that moves but I feel somehow he made some. Thats why foreign investors had came and invest in our stock exchange, the exchange increases to new highest level, export increase, economy improving etc. I agree if people say he is no nonsense prime minister!
