I want to learn how to play guitar, and I found someone to teach me. Only thing is, he said that I need to have a guitar so that I can practice, or else what's the point of him teaching me? The budget's really tight right now, and he graduates in May, so there's also a time limit. Can someone help me find a good guitar that's cheap?

You might try going to some of the local pawn shops sometimes you can pick up a good deal there. I have also seen them in Goodwill at times. It might not sound the best or look great but you could learn the basics and when you get the money you can get a good one.

Perhaps you could check out eBay, or alternatively look in your local papers too, as people sell off a lot of guitars this way.
