do you work in a differrent profession rather than the one youve graduated from?

i love to draw and sketch and it is really my passion that is why i have graduated years ago in architecture but i did not have the opportunity to practice my profession due to some competition and so, i have ended up being a medical transcriptionist now. although i have come to love the work i have right now, i still wonder at times if ever i had become an architect and bravely competing with others...but i dont have any regrets coz i am really loving the job i have now....have you had the same experience? do you work differently from the course that you took in college? have you had any regrets? share with us...

I finished a degree in AB Political Science, but I'm on a call center right now. I've already been thru a lot of work experiences both in government and in private firms. Since I started working at an early age of 18, so I've been working for more than a decade now. Based on my experience, the nature of your course in College doesn't really matter. It's more on how you're going to make your way up to the ladder of your career path. I realized that my professor was correct when he said: what you'll learn in school doesn't even make 5% of your total learnings in life.

I studied Political Science and City Planning, but I work in a library. Having that kind of education helps though. But, I have always wanted to be either an artist or a writer. I am working on becoming an artist in demand at the moment.

Unfortunately, I am..
I graduated an Accountancy Degree but didnt had money to take the board so i applied..I apply as a computer literate bookkeeper..I told myself i will eventually apply what i learned from school..Unfortunately, it is just a name, bookkeeper..in fact i work as their secretary having to sit at the computer all afternoon and im not well compensated..so sad..
