Blood Donation!! How many time you have done?

My blood group is B negetive. I have donated my blood atleast 6 time in my life. first time while I was in school and that was very scary. My one friends says that if you donate your blood you will be very weak.. you will fall sick etc and I somehow believed him at that time... but as i grow up i know thats not true!!
I wonder how many people still find it scary to donate blood and if there are any one who think donating your blood is not good for you?

I have donated blood 2 times and Becoming weak and soon are myth .. its not true

well,i have not yet donated blood.its not like that i don't want to...but i'll do it in future if there is really need.you won't fell sick if you are strong enough.anyways doctor takes good care before taking blood from donater.

I think I donated my blood more than 5 times during my college years and that was almost 8 years ago.
I was scary at first but when I made it on the first donation I really see to it that I can donate every 6 months.
The feeling is overwhelming when you knew that your blood will be used to cure for other and you can save life by it.

my blood group is ab+ve and i have never donated my blood. once i was told by a doctor that a woman as it is has dearth for blood due to her periods.she may suffer from anaemia and will feel really weak. so women should not donate much blood unless they are really healthy. i think otherwise its no harm donating blood. i'll donate blood when my near and dear ones will need it. i pray that they never face a situation when they need blood.
