This is the way babies learn to communicate. They have done studies on children who were raised in orphanages where no one talked with them or held them except to change their clothing and feed them, and they turned out seriously handicapped in speech and social skills. Talking, even to very young babies is very important.

It is to ask the baby to behave and to feel that how much you care him/her.

yes i talk to my baby! because she knows my voice, and it makes her feel good! and this way they learn words very quick! my 2,5 year old one can talk very well for her age, and i think it's because i always talked to her from the beginning!

You talk to babies because they like the sound of the human voice, and surprisingly, they can comprehend quite a lot, even when just a few days old. the more a baby is talked to, the smarter he becomes. its as simple as that. So, talk to your kids, and other babies, and use correct words.

Yes, I do talked to any baby.
The 1 month - 9 month years old baby has a developing brain. Their brain seems like a sponge, it will absorb anything. If you talked to them they will accept that as their mother language, and they remembering words.
Here's the fact. If you are American, and you talked to your baby in Chinese or Japanese, they will grow with a better learning of Japanese or Chinese language than English.
