I was born in Chicago, so I loved Bozo and even had the chance when I was about 8 to go see him during a taping of the show. Also there was Ray Rainer and his side kick Cuddle Duddly who was a great big dog. Romper Room also was a favorite, so I suppose none of my best are playing any longer:((

Cartoon Shorts, the big over Stuffed Cuddly Duddly was always a big hit, in fact I had one that was so big it took up a whole corner of my room. He also did like fan mail, jokes, play acting that sort of thing.

My favorite shows when I was a kid were Combat and Thunder Cats. Combat was a serial about the war between the Americans and the Germans. The Americans were the good guys and the Germans were the bad guys. Thunder Cats was a cartoon/animated show where a bunch of human-cat mutants were the heroes. I actually remembered when the shows would be aired so that I would not miss them.

I love sesame street, too, little franciscan. I still love it until now. I have a favorite cd entitled "kid's favorite songs". I was so laughing during the part when elmo sang all 3 songs but mixed--ABC, Twinkle little star, and Baa Baa black sheep. Its a funny movie of elmo.
I also loved road runner and popeye and bugs bunny before.

I used to love Barney when I was really young. Then, I got into Scooby-Doo, and Tom and Jerry. I think they are all still on. I still watch some cartoons with my nieces and nephews, and I must say, I really like the Dragon Tales! LoL

Mine was reading a rainbow. We didn't have cable and this was the only cartoon like show that came on during the week. I also liked pooh. I guess that now you all know that I am still a young pup.

When I was younger my most favorite was Scooby-Doo still is. LOL Although I liked Speedy (the dune buggy car), the Super Heroes and Yogi Bear. Those were some of my favorites on Saturday mornings. I will still now and then watch Scooby-Doo with the kids, the originals are my favorite. :)

Hello littlefranciscan, when I was a little girl, I always had to fight with my brother about the cartoon shows that we like to watch. I don't know if you are familiar with the Japanese "Voltes V" show. But my siblings and I were really hooked on that show. Its an action, comedy, suspense and drama all rolled into one. I also like the show "Candy." I'm not sure what country it originated from. But it was a very beautiful cartoon show. :)

Seaseme street was one of my favorites as well. I also remember watching Mr Rodger's Neighborhood, Thundercats, Silverhawks, and a show about talking cars and motorcyles. I can't remember the name of it anymore. Ooh, and I used to watch the A Team as well. I think both Seaseme street and Mr. Rodger's are still on.
I remember later on that I liked Eureka's castle as well. Alas, another good show gone.

I loved watching Sesame Street, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, The Jetsons and The Flinstones. I think they're all still running, but there are no new episodes. I think. :)
