I do give tips because I view it as a reward for the person for a job well done. I usually give tips to my haircutter, and restraunt waiters. I view it as appreciating the good quality of service they rendered to me. I also view it as a means of encouragement for them so they will be ispired to give quality service.

I give out tips based on the service. If a server is friendly easy to talk to. Approchable ect then ill tip well even if the meal isnt good. Its not their fault. it a hair dresser does a good cut, throws in a free wash or whatever then ill tip well. If im unsatisfied with the end result they wont get much or nothing at all. I was a waitress myself for a while and i strove to be very friendly, remember what each person ordered, bring them refills on their drinks before they were asked for ect. And i found i always got good tips. So think its more commen to tip on service rather then a % of the bill.

Yes I do the same as well. Sometimes I give large tips if I am really satisfied with their services.

Yes i have enough budget i do give tip to my hair dresser and manicurist. It is a sign of giving thank you to them. It can also encourage them to do good in their service always.
