I am a writer. It's that plain and simple. I have done almost every activity and fit in almost nowhere and at this point, that is almost fine. When I was 8 my aunt told me I needed a hobby. Almost all my boyfriends have said the same exact thing. She said I needed to find something I like to do. That's when I started writing. It should be no surprise; my father is a fiction/screenwriter. I wrote a lot of short stories in the beginning and in 1996 at the age of 11 I started my first diary. I am now 22 and I am on my 17th diary and I have decided to publish them. However, like most people, I am struggling with feelings of self-doubt. I am asking myself "Am I good enough?" and "What if I can't find a publisher to publish them?"I know everyone has a story but does that mean mine is any less worth telling? Do you struggle with self-doubt about your gifts or talents? All I know is that I am a writer and as long as I have two hands I'm going to write. Some of the things I have wrote, I go back and read them and I am so proud. What do you do? I wake up and I think about writing. What do you wake up and think about? What do you aspire to be? What do you love to do?

I love to write, draw and paint and when I was young I had doubts but I have sold painting and articles so I know that I can do it. So just check out different publishers and send your stuff to them. You will one day be pleasantly surprised. Good Luck

I used to paint too, and my best friend that is reviewing my diaries is a painter; one of her paintings is selling for $500. It's amazing. That is so lovely that you write and paint. I am the most impatient person, so I haven't painted in awhile. Nothing ever seemed to come out right. But I admire you for sticking with such a skilled craft. How long have you been doing it ?

I have been painting for 45 years and drawing since I was 7 and now I am 65 years young. Thank you so very much for the best response.

Anytime1 I'm just trying to perfect my craft you know ? It's not easy. Not everyone can be a good writer and I just don't want to be a bad one because doing this is so dear to me.

I also love to write, but I stuggle with writer's block. Apparently, you do not, and that is wonderful! You should try to find a publisher to publish them, and if the first one turns you down, keep looking. As long as you know they are good, that is all that matter. Good luck!

You are a writer. You can write and publish them for free as I am doing. I have been publishing at lulu.com I am a translator of the Word of God from Greek to English. I have already published GENESIS, EXODUS, LEVITICUS (Greek-English), THE WILL New Testament (Greek to English), ELEMENTS of SALVATION, The Right Way, GOD, ORIGIN, TRANSFER into PERFECTION, GREEK-ENGLISH (Grammar & Vocabulary), WORDS in THE WILL New Testament, and others shown at http://www.lulu.com/arseniajoaquin I have not spent even a single cent in publishing these. There are no set up fees. Authors are not even required to buy even a single copy of their books. In fact I have not seen any copy of any of my books as I have no money and I don't even have any credit card. Lulu does not interfer with the content. Write anything you want too. Choose the size there, book cover, you're free to set your royalty, etc. Copyright is automatically included there. I hope you can publish your work soon. May God bless you.
