Our baby is nearly 1 year old and sleeps with us in our bed, it think this will go on for another year atleast. she wakes up in the night a number of times and its much better if she 's with us.

my two girls never slept with me! i found it very dangerious to do that(i have a waterbed) so they sleep in their own beds and in their own rooms! the 2,5 old one is very small(wears size 74/80) so she still sleeps in a babybed! as soon as she can climb out of it she gets a juniorbed.

My oldest two have always slept in thier own bed. My youngest one did not. She was on breathing treatments for almost a year and it was easier to have her in bed with me. When she got over that I started putting her in her own bed and now she is alright with it. She was 18 months old the first time.

My daughter slept with me until she was 9 months old. I was so bad my husband would sleep on the couch because we took up the whole bed and he did not have any room. When she was 9 months we had a friend that needed a place to sty for a few months so it forced me to put her in her own bed. The first 2 nights were the worst. I was waking up every 2 hours because she was crying and I would have to rock her back to sleep but after that it was the best thing I could have done. We are all happier.

Both of my girls sleep together in our old queen sized bed in their bedroom. They've been sleeping together for the past year or so, and are 4 and 2 now. Once in a while they will sneak into our bed, but I think because they are together they are content to stay in their own room and in their own beds.

i used to just keep my daughter in her bassinet, but then i got lazy, put her in bed with me cause most the time she would wake up because the binky was out of her mouth so all i had to do was put her binky back in her mouth, and i didnt want to have to get up every 10 mins just putting it back in, so i started putting her in bed with me. well i put her in the bassinet till the first time she would wake up, then i put her in bed with me

I have never let my children sleep with me. Usually when they use to come into my room from having a bad dream or were scared, I would walk with them back to their beds, and lay there with them, talking to them and helping them relax so they will fall asleep in their own beds. This has really worked for me.. Once you let them sleep in your bed, they think it's ok, to just show up when they want to..
