what is your opinion on the death penalty?

I have been following the trial of the man in Florida who was a convicted child molester. He kidnapped, raped and then buried alive that little girl. I am interested on everyone's opinion on the death penalty for someone like this monster. I myself believe he deserves worse than death. But God will be his judge in the end. I do think that we need to do more as a country to protect our children from these monsters. There is no rehabilitation for people like this. They do not deserve the right to live amongst us. One offense and they should be locked up forever!!!
