I am thankful for....

I received this from a friend in an email and thought I would share it with you all. It made be thankful for a lot of little things I now notice I take for granted. I hope you like it.
Im thankful:
For the wife whos making hotdogs for dinner because shes home with me and not out with someone else
For the husband who is on the sofa being a couch potatoe
because hes home with me and not out at the bars
For the teenager who is complaining doing the dishes
because it meens shes home and not on the streets
For the taxes I pay
because it meens Im employed
For the mess I need to clean after a party
because it meens ive been surrounded by friends
For the shadow that watches me work
because it meens Im out in the sunshine
For a lawn that needs mowing,windows that need cleaning
and gutters that need fixing because it meens i have a home
For the car park I find at the far end of the parking lot
because it meens i am capable of walking
For my huge electricity bill
because it meens im cool when its hot and warm when its cold
For the lady behind me in church who sings off key
because meeens i can hear
For the pile of laundry and ironing
because it meens i have clothes to wear
And finally for too much email
because it meens i have friends
who are thinking of me

Thank you for the reminder of the reasons or at least some of them to be gratefull for life. We are so busy griping (I am guilty of this) that we forget what we DO have and do not apreciate it. It is through the hardtimes that we are able to enjoy and apreciate the good one. :)

I was sent this to me a long time ago but I lost it , Thank you for posting it here , I think we should all read this now and again to make us realise what life is all about , since hubby had his operation , I have thought about a lot of the things you have printed here , thanks pal xx

From time to time we need our perceptions tweaked and this does it quite nicely. Should probably be posted somewhere lots of people pass through in hopes it helps some to become more content with their lives. Thanks for sharing this one to. Another for my notepad.
