Have you ever just sat down & think whats become of your life....? You always seem to make goals, achievements, have things to do, but when you actually sit to think about it all. It becomes a question, of how monoternious things got !
Well then you need a vacation ...

I know how you feel; I used to be the same way when I was younger. Even today, at the age of 49, I have regrets and wish that I had done things differently with some things.
I have a wonderful son, CJ, who has Autism and I care for him 24/7 but I wish there were something else that I could do as well with my life to make a difference; to help other people, or...What you need to do, perhaps, is find something that you really love; are good at, etc. And then, go for it..! If you can help others along the way as well, that's an added bonus to your happiness...Good luck and God Bless.

I think maybe you shouldn't beat yourself up so much! We all make mistakes, specially at a young age, and its never too late to pickup the pieces and start putting the puzzle back together. Just try not to lose the piecse along the way, and everything will turn out great! I used to be a highschool drop out, who did nothing but party, sleep and play on the internet :S! i am now a highschool graduate with a full time job, a great boyfriend, and I am going to be going to college in the spring :). Just dont give up!!

I can relate to that one, I just moved into a basement suite with my boyfriend, and I have come to realize that life really is just about eating, sleeping, working, and then filling the time in between with mainly meaningless things. When we lived with my mom this was harder to see because there were like 9 of us living in the house and there was always something happening. I guess I am having a little bit of trouble getting used to my new found "peace and quiet" lol. Though on a lighter note, I am going on a vacation at the end of the month so it will be nice to step out of the norm for a while!

Well it would be a real change from nine, to just the two of you ! But eventually you will come to enjoy the so called peace & quiet, but then again you could always just visit your mom from time to time!

Except for having my children and a stable marriage for over 18 years, I feel like I could have done so much more with my life. Certain things just weren't possible but now, at the age of 49, I want and need to do something more; help others, or...We're going on a bit of a vacation in April to see Mark's family; first to Vegas for a time-share presentation at the new Hilton on the Strip. We got a nice pkg. and that should be fun - then it's off to the family in Havasu; prayerfully they won't drive me too nuts...lol
