It's hard being a stay at home parent... meeting the demands of a household, raising children, being responsible for the physical and emotional needs of your family. We don't get enough credit. Sure, our chosen profession gives us the perk of staying home but we, unlike our working counterparts, rarely get a chance to punch out. How do you feel about this? What are the pros and cons of stay at home parenting?

You must never underestimate the value of a home parent there are so many responsibliites, to be carried out it is a job int itself otherwise you would have to hire so many people to do the job, the children understand you more they get closer to you and they respect you for what you are doing to them, you may not be able to enjoy all the material benefits enjoyed by the working parents but if you are contend then you will be more happy with this as it is very stressful to leave very young kids in creche etc if you have your own people to supervise them then it is okay but at least when kids are young they need the mother to be with them, so it is a blessing to them,
