Many marry for the sake of staying and be permanent.sometimes that true becuase you don't really love a person that quick.but you must be quick when running out of time like when your visa is good for 3 months. In my case ,marry first and love will follow...........

You can't marry just for citizenship. Love can not blossom where there is pressure. I am Canadian in love with an American. We can either live in his country or mine, we are still deciding. We are in love, and have always been in love. Neither one of us is doing it to gain entry into the other's country, although getting the government on either side to believe that is a different story.
We are involved because we love eachother, not because I want to be American or he wants to be Canadian.
Even if we do live in the USA, I will only go so far as to be a landed immigrant, not a full citizen. I do not want to lose my Canadian citizenship.
