What's your favorite movie of all times?

The other day I was holding a conversation with a dear friend of mine that was going through quite a bit of a grief. To cheer her up, I reminded her of a plot in a movie we had both enjoyed and she responded with, "that was just a movie...what does it have to do with real life?" But I beg to differ...you see, there are writers behind these movies with real life motivations, dreams, dilemmas that use entertainment as their form of outlets. Sometimes the stories in these movies can inspire us and make us think of broader, bigger things. Do you have a favorite movie that has brought a smile to your face, that has encouraged you to be different, that has given you a change in a personal perpective? Share it with us...

For me a real eye opener was The Killing Fields. This true story has helped to give me compassion about what happens outside of Canada. I count my blessings because i don't have to live in a war zone, no terror, no hostile takeover. Canada has many freedoms. Take care Jonelli.
