Do you talk with plants?

I just saw a discussion titled "do you talk with ants?" and it seemed so odd but then i guess its just the same as talking with pet animals. But what about this? do you talk with plants? Plants are different from pet animals but with my case, i do talk with my plants, with my flowering plants specifically. they just inspire me so much when i see them with flowers that are blooming so beautifully. i tell them to always bloom like that and be pretty always to enlighten my mood and to beautify our surroundings.^__^;;

i dont talk to plants but my mother does. she always appreciates her plants everytime they are in bloom and whenever her plant is "sickly" she also talks to them they need to recover. i find it funny at times but i think i does have some effects on the plants. hehehe..

dont think im weird ate ha... i just talk to them to tell them to bloom some more if they are blooming already or to start blooming if they havent got one single flower. yeah i think it has some effects, i think the plants respond to requests like that especially if they are taken care of well and nicely.

I have witnessed/witnessing plants responding. If I hurt them accidentally, they frown, If I treat them well(with water and manure) and pet them softly they smile.

Talking with Plants!!.. I certainly talk with animals but Plants!. That's something new I have heard lol..
It may be because I have never really been a garden guy and don't understand these things. I'm not really concerned with what's growing and what's not growing the garden. my mom attends to that lol.

that's understanble. i guess most people that talk with plants are those that likes gardening. hey, ask your mom if she do this. ^__^ i think she does.

Not only does talking to plants help them emotionally, during the day, plants take our breath and turn it back into oxygen.
But hey, I talk to lots of things. Have you ever tried to start your car but it just won't start? Most often, it happens when you're in a hurry. Have you ever said, "come on baby, don't do this to me!"? How about when your car starts to stall? "Please, not now!" Ever bump into a table and say, "excuse me"? I think most people will find that we talk to a lot of inanimate objects. I find it amusing. Listen to yourself sometimes, see if it doesn't happen to you.

now that you mention it, i think i do talk to some inanimate objects. ^__^ hmmm.. lemme see... i talk with pictures, stickers, doors, computers.. and a lot more! even to my cellphone. well, aside from making a normal call that is. ^__^;;
