Guide to survive a plane crash...

I saw on CNN a few days ago about a terrible accident of a plane crashed and exploded after a hard landing in Java Indonesi. Luckily, most of the passengers (± 140 people) were escaped with minor injury except for ± 22 people who still trapped when the plane exploded. Some say that this 22 people were senior (old) that they probably cannot move as fast and maybe already unconscious due to the hard landing. Some witness say that the plane was exploded 10 minutes after its hard landing. I thought 10 minutes was enough to evacuate everybody, but apparently not. What do you think we should do on a situation like that? Some expert said that we need to seat close to the emergency doors (but they are limited..), how if you traveling with children?
