My daughter is already begging me to let her find a job for this summer. She is only 13 years old. I think she is too young to have a summer job. What frightens me most is that she would be happy to have her own money and she would leave school so she would have more to spend. On the other hand, she would know how much she has to work to earn money. I am very confussed.

If you trust yourself that you have given her a well education on what she really needs then go for it and let her do as she wish. Tell her that the summer job by no means is her gateaway of school. After all I think she can't stop school if she has dreams in her life.

Why not? I think you should give your daughter a chance to work.
I don't think your daughter will leave her school because of summer job.
I remember my first job at summer, I earned some very nice cash that I was needed but I didn't think about abandonede my study for this.
It isn't easy to earn money at this kind of jobs so I don't your daughter will leave her school so quickly. I don't think you should worrie about it.
If she want to work, let her try and afterward see what is going on.
