do anybody how to repair my laptop ibm T20.................

i have an ibm thinkpad laptop T20.............. recently while i switch on my laptop its not booting to windows.....
it shows an error 0175,crc1........... and after that it hangs up there is no any action................. can anybody tell me wat should i do now............ help me as soon as possible

As usual i will assume that you have installed windows on
primary drive 'c'.You need to format this drive because it has crc (checksum)error due to which file needed to boot the computer has got corrupted.After format in Dos you need to install a fresh copy of windows.But before that if u have any important file, back it up using 'win XPE bootable cd or dvd'(it is a bootable cd or dvd capable of running windows xp sp1 right from the disc) and move the files from c drive to another say 'd'.As u are from India i can send you a copy of the bootable cd/dvd if wish for some expense.My mail id is

You may face bad sector during format..but it will be ok after a complete format.
