why rock died?

well it isn't dead but i have to say it is starting to vanish. It is not the same as ten years ago, not as crazy, not as fanatic, not as popular. Did the rock fans settle down? I say this as an observer because i like rock but i'm not really a fan.

I actually agree it is dying.If you are a classic rock fanatic like most of my friends and I, it seems few if any new actual Rock bands formed after the 80's. I like all rock '89 and before, for the most part. Bands like Green Day, and all those other ones don't seem to have the soul and feeling of Classic rock(no offense to any fans). Everything derived from the blues somehow, but it seems all the new bands are getting even farther away. It seems once the old bands die out, there wont be much left.
