Do YOU think having a LOT of friends HURT !!!!!!

It sounds kind of weard... But that's what my momn has to say about my friends. I'm a cool guy having a lot of friends, whom most of all my mom hates thinking that HAVING A LOT OF FRIENDS MOVE ME IN THE OTHER DIRECTION WHICH SHE DOESN'T WANT ME TO GO.... I don't understand why my mom says so but it sounds kind of weard... whenever my mom tells me of this.... WHAT DO YOU THINK???????
