y suicide rates are increasing?

it is very difficult ot survive in this world and more difficult to live the life of a winner..but why are people instead of fighting, taking their own lives??everyone knows it is not a solution to our problems..but some are opting it to escape frm their responsibilities..is there a need to change the way we bring up our children??shouldnt they be given the courage to face life as it is?? the newspapers are full of stories regarding the victims.some papers even uphold the suicides as great deeds.does repeated media coverage promote "suicide contagion"? this is the case in india.i dont knw the situation in other nations.would like to hear from them too.
