Every morning, I wake up to watch my one greatest blessing in life. And everyday, I wish that come nightfall, I would be beside my one greatest blessing to put her to sleep and watch her slumber and thank God for her. My daughter is now 3 years old and everyday of those years have been days of thankfulness for her presence in my life.
What is your one greatest blessing?

surely, my greatest blessings are my 2 daughters ages 4.5 & 1 year old. they inspire me to take on the challenges head on. also, those horrid circumstances/situations in my life that transformed into being greatest opportunities.

Children sure bring out the best in us. Also, it is a very positive attitude that takes one to see the opportunities that have opened up through bad experiences. Doesn't friction make the stone shine brighter? Thanks for te great insight, and wish you the best. :

i have a complicated family life. i'm living with my girlfriend/common-law wife although she's separated and still in the middle of an annulment. she has three kids from her previous marriage. though not my own, those three kids are the greatest blessings in my life, the eldest a boy i can see myself in when i was growing up, the second a girl who's so pretty and sweet and excelling in school she's almost perfect, the youngest another boy who never fails to make us laugh in spite of all the hardship we went through in making this family of ours work. i've been equally blessed by acceptance on my side of the family of our situation, and the only thing i could wish for is to have the strength and or ability to battle the odds and give them the education they need to make it through life on their own, as well as for my wife's annulment to push through so that we can finally get married, which is also one of our kids' greatest wishes...

Would you believe that I am so impressed? It is such a "complicated" life as you say, but you have seen the blessings you have, instead of cursing the heavens. We have our lives to live, we make choices, which are sometimes good, and sometimes not-so-good. The fact you see your blessings is in itself a great gift - a blessing. Remain strong, and try to keep to a path that always leads to God's glory. We all strive to, but we slip and slide every once in a while. We are human! What is important is we acknowledge our weaknesses, get back on track, EVERY SINGLE TIME. Thanks, adquirante, for sharing your own experience. I am no saint, but we are able to help each other learn by sharing of our own experiences. Cheers and God bless to you and your family!
