Why Do Paypal Take So much Money??

Recently I Sold My Car CD player on ebay and the buyer decided to pay me By PayPal. Which was not a Problem, Until I checked the ammount I recived in Paypal. I had Been charged £10. Far doing what? As far as I can tell they are nto doing anything?
Have you had any experiences like this?

Do the above people work for paypal or something? It doesnt cost paypal any where near that amount just to transfer money to your bank! its a rip off!

this is a common thing. paypal charges very high fees for transactions involving any paypal accounts for incoming and outgoing funds
egold is a better option as it's easier to fund and withdraw, it's available to everyone worldwide and most importantly doesnt have restrictions like paypal yet secure
