Are we all driven crazy?

I don't know in the rest of the world, but here, in Italy, the people are driven crazy... Everydays (EVERYDAYS!) we can read on the newspapers about mothers who killed their children, people who killed their neighbors because they made noise. Everydays we can read about students who used violence on others students who have handicap. Some years ago it was different, now all this things are the normality. I don't know why, I don't know how, but the reality is this: the people can't hear noises, the people can't hear children and everyone think that have to be more strong than others. How is it possible? I think that this is a psychological problem of my country... How is the situation in your country?
