God is Perfect A= B
Perfection is a form of Balance B=C
Balance needs Good and Evil C= D+ E
God is good, or the opposite of evil A=D or -E
How does the math work???A=B???The only way to prove that god is perfect (in the sense of this proof) is by proving he is evil in some sort of way. I've gone through things such as death and disease, but they all lead to god being good because they are required for balance and there'd be chaos without them. However PLEASE try to prove that god is perfect or that my statement is incorrect, I love a good challenge in thinking!

If you believe that god is present somewhere outside we expect him to be perfect. But if man has created god that is if it is 'within' us then we are influenced by sensual pleasures and perhaps doing the so called 'imperfect' things.
'good' or 'perfection' alone cant exist unless there is 'imperfection' or 'bad' exists. We mention about light, weak because there is darkness and strength.
If there is good alone no need to talk about bad or we wont think of such things. We wont even invent such words like degrees of comparison.

I'm not sure I get what you're saying. I would agree that in this imperfect world there are no perfect solutions. We may need to reach a balance between certain contradictory forces. But the world God exists in, if there is a God, is beyond this one. God, to have any meaning at all, would have to be perfect. He can only be perfect without evil.

because there has to be equality for things to work. If you give a poor man a piece of bread it'll be a blessing. If you give a rich man bread, he'll spit on ya. This part has to be seen on a scale from 1-10, 1 meaning bad, 10 good.
If you live a life of 10, then something at the rate of 8 is bad making happiness decrease. If you live a life of 1 and something at the rate of 4 comes along, happiness increases. There has to be a balance. If you live a life at 5, then both good and bad happens, making life more perfect because you can fall, only to get happier.

In Bhagavath Gita in sanyasa yoga[One of the chapters]14th nd 15th slokas it is mentioned that god is free from everything.
The exact meaninig of this in swami Chithbhavanandas words"The lord doesnot create agency or actions for the world.he doesnot create unions with the fruits of action.Nature does all this.the omnipresent doesnot take the note of the merit or demerit of any.Knowledge is veiled by ignorance and thereby the mortals are deluded."
God is just activating the nature.God is there like a witness in every action by nature.
Nature includes both 'Mind and matter.'
we all admit that matter or uni.energy can neither be created nor be destroyed. If some are poor some have to be rich. Similarly if the equilibrium is disturbed Emotions will also change. The more some are getting good and better others are getting worse.
So god has nothing to do with good or bad and it is all the work of nature.

Ah but if nature is doing all the work for god, then why is it that acts of miracles happen when they shouldn't? Things such as those stories of people getting abnormal amounts of energy and able to do amazing actions that the natural body can not? Would that not prove that God interfere's with nature making it so that god does in turn have to do with good and evil?

I still donot understand what you call 'perfect'?All these 'good', 'perfect' things are created by humans to lead a peaceful life that is not being cannibolic.
If some people are energetic it is because they want to be and it is their 'Will".
The belief in the god gives them energy or increase their 'will power'.
Sometimes people know it is a crime still they do it.so god is not able to stop them and just there watching it like a witness.
we cannot explain light unless we know what is darkness. So a meditating sage is considered as god as he is not involving himself with bad or good.to stop bad we have to stop good too.
Realising god is a sort of slow process.by doing prayers we achieve whatever we want in life, later we get bored and wonder about this nature and universe and truth will come out.

I also would like to point out that not all are 100% bad or good. What about animals?Their emotions are limited. An interesting thought-we are destroying many species of wild life and human population is rising.could this be the reason we see many people who behave no better than animals?
There is no perfect 'good' or 'bad' deed.By doing good we will be doing something bad if not for the humans but to the nature.Thats what I called 'Equillibrium'.

Somewhere it has been said that God created man in his image.....therefore God cannot be perfect. No one is perfect so it stands to reason that God cannot be perfect.
