What to do with money orders?

I recently started accepting money orders as payment with one of my home businesses. I know this will sounds strange but- do you deposit them into your bank account the same way you do a check- just putting the money order info on the deposit slip? Or do you have to cash it and then deposit the cash? Where do you cash these other than "check cashing places?"

You can deposit them in your bank or cash them at your bank I just sign the back and hand it over. If they are postal money orders you can cash them at the post office. Where ever the money order was bought at you can cash it. I think even places like certain stores do money orders and will cash the ones that came from one of their stores. Don't feel silly I wondered the same thing when I got my first money order.
