Why are you in the fast lane if....? (My Rant)

You are doing 20 mph under the speed limit?
There is a mile between you and the car in front of you?
You don't want to go over 55 mph?
The slow lane is moving at a faster pace than you are?
You can't seem to take your foot off of the brake?
You can't drive?
There are 18 wheelers tailgating you because they want you to go faster?
You're 85 years old and can't see over the driving wheel?
There's a line of people behind you flashing their bright beams?
Is it me or do these drivers make your commute that much worse? Do drivers like this ANNOY you? Do they stress you out?

Oh I'm so with you. I can rant about traffic around the Washington DC area for sure. You got a host of "the slow drivers" "the confused drivers" "the Sunday drivers" "the speed racers from hell" "the Braker Brake Drivers" (the ones that brake when they see a car on the OTHER lane braking, just brake for no reason)
And don't let it be a accident, Rubberneckers--Raining or something like that. My commute to work or home is just SHOT!!!
The thing that get me the most, is the two laners, both vehicles going the same exact speed, won't move over and won't let anyone else pass...BURNS ME UP!!
lol, I can go on and on with this.. I commute every single day and I get off at the worst time 5:00pm...lol

GIRL I'M FEELING EVERYTHING YOU SAID!!!!! That is exactly what I'm talking about... and I'm sure the traffic up here in Philly is EXACTLY the same as DC! I'm just glad that you had the opportunity to rant with me!! LOL!

Ohh you know I love these kind of topics, it's almost funny and I get steam off and just hopefully someone on Mylot lives around the DC area and if they "happen" to drive like what I expressed above, will be a little nicer and move over if you can't pass the vehicle aside of you..lol lol..
Thanks for the rant...lol Oh I never been up north maybe once, and gawd the further up north you get the MORE aggressive the drivers are. I can imagine...lol..and Philly, Big city like our overly populated DC commuters, people come from Richmond to work in DC...95 is a BEAST at times..That's the main interstate and live about 8 minutes from it and have to use it sometimes..lol..Girl I can go on and on..Traffic...gotta love it..lol

I dont let it stress me out,but what they fail to realize is that driving to slow can be dangerous along with driving to fast, because it leads people to tailgate and really start up road rage.I pass them and look at them like they are crazy!lol

I think the biggest problem with these type of drivers is that they create a dangerous situation. People will get frustrated and try and get around them in a act of rage and my not see other traffic around them.
I don't know why anyone who is afraid to drive the speed limit would even think about getting on 95.

That is so true....especially on I-95 during the height of rush hour. Why do they go out during that time? It should be a law or something--if you go below a certain speed on the interstate during rush hour, you should be locked up! I mean, c'mon--the rest of us work for a living and HAVE to be somewhere!

that would drive ME NUTS!!! (i do admit that i have a bit of a "heavy foot") and you are right, they should get tickets for impeding the flow of traffic. it's ridiculous

Oh yes, you are MY kind of driver! I agree with you whole-heartedly. There are few things as annoying and potentionally dangerous as people who cruise along in the fast lane. The fast lane is for PASSING people, not cruising along for a Sunday drive with your cruise-control on! They make you have to pass on the right, which is SO potentially dangerous because there could easily be someone from the next lane over deciding to make a legal pass on the left and you can't always see them, especially if they're in your blind spot.
Road hogs, MOVE OVER already!

LOL!!! I was driving to work this morning and the way that these people were driving in the fast lane was HORRIFYING!! I was so stressed out because they were just cruising along (at 50 mph on I-95) like it was the right thing to do.
