thanks for sharing the information... what you said is absolutely true.... we have to hate the war... but what can we do... UN does not even care about these things... if they don't care why are they for?? after this much of loss, what will US do to get back all the money it wasted on war... god only knows... the result of war is loss of many things...but no gain...war might be a good topic for someone to write about...but it is no good for people

This is really Shocking to me to see those figures...
I don't understand why Bush government so lavishly spending US citizens hard earned money...
Instead they could have saved lives of many poor people who are unable to meet their basic neeeds...
I strongly condemn Bush policies and his tactics in grabbing powers of countries who try to raise a bit..Its a completely Exploitation
U can see now US started getting Oil from Iraq at a very cheap price or free..this may be of the major reasons for Bush to attack Iraq...

War is not good; but, in this case it is necessary. The problem right now (and the reason this is taking so long to settle) is that not enough force was sent to take control of the situation in the first place.
Instead of going in with an overwhelming force, we sent fewer troops in than we should have. It was like trying to fight a forest fire with a dozen people. It made a small impact; but, not enough to stop things and let the rest get out of hand.
What really makes ME mad is the money we are GIVING to foreign countries as "aid". When Bush recently went to South America, he told Brazil that in addition to helping them increase ethanol production, our "aid package" would increase by an ADDITIONAL 1.6 BILLION dollars and the people there were complaining that we weren't giving them MORE!
I don't mind my tax dollars going to help people after a disaster: flood, famine, earthquake, tsunami, etc. But, I do MIND my money going to foreign countries for ZERO return except for complaints that it isn't more. As you pointed out, we need money to take care of our own people. Brazil is getting more than 8 BILLION dollars this year in aid and has had NO disaster. When you multiply amounts like that times the number of countries we send "foreign aid" to; the amount is staggering.
Plus, they don't even say "thank you"; they just complain that they want MORE!

Do you not remember what these people have done to U.S.? Does 911 ring a bell?I for one think that more troops should be deployed. If we did not do anything terrorist would attack us again and maybe even your country. We are not only doing this for ourselves!

Thankyou forbringing this to our attention. I feel exactly the same,we have not been able to eradicate world poverty and the DEATHS that are being caused by that. Not only in the war people are dying every day, people are dying through manutrtion, illnesses ,lack of clean water? Isn't that a crime too? Who should be held responsible eh? Our governemnts suck, we have no wise leaders any more..

I agree with you war by America in Iraq has made the people of Iraq suffered. War surely gives us nothing. I cannot understand what benefit America could reap by raging a war against Iraq. It is really disgusting people suffering over there.

its not so difficult to make out America's interests........its oil cos they will be short of oil in next few year, rahter whloe world would suffer the same shortage of oil, so they want to secure oil fields, and Iraq is the biggest oil fields country.......so it was obvious, and most interesting thing is the contracts given after the war of the oil fields in Iraq was to the top official's relatives or related people......
