is a daughter more attached to her dad than a son?

i say that daughters r more attached to their dads n boys love to be free but they hav their mom on their back :D

s u r true this is wat nature we r nothing to do with this offcourse there will b any exceptions,similarly I am a son more attracted by mom than dad. We know that!!!!!!!!!!!!! "Opposite poles attract each other"

I never felt it that way for i try to balance my relationship to my children, i see to it that i hug them both and try to let them speak what ever it is, and we are happy, we laugh most of the time, we play for as they grow older we know that we cannot keep them all the time.

I think that wat u said is right.But i also think that this closeness changes with the change in age ,as the girl gets older she developes a closeness to her mom more than her dad cause she finds so much common between them and relates to her mom well.But yes her dad still remains the hero of her life. This is my experience,i dont know abt boys they might hava different story.

There's a lot of different people you know.. There's a what we called; papa's boy, papa's girl, mama's boy, mama's girl, so we cant really say that only a daughter is the one who's very close to her dad or mom.. There's also a child who's not really close with both of their parents,... There's also a child that really close with their parents and i can say that i am one of those child! i am very close with my dad and mom!

i feel the same way as you... im more closer to my dad, but still im also open to my mom. maybe im more attach to my dad because evey time i do something wrong he talks to me nicely unlike my mom who brags sometimes, which is SOMETIMES annoying. :))

dad tried to capture his mom in his daughter and want her to be the best.... and a son looks like what he is when he was young ( a mirror image!!!!)...who needs more modifications to be a perfect guy (which he was not!!)So girls are more attached to dad than guys .... this is my personal experience... science says boys are weak in mother's womb and use more of mom's hemoglobin and a psychological study revealed that may be this is the reason for boys becoming more attached to mothers than girls. to fill the loneliness of his daughter,dad enters the inner sapce of daughter and becomes close to her......

not at all occasion... i have a daughter who is 2 years old. she is more attached to me than her dad. she doesn't want to sleep beside her dad... and more sadly is that, she doesn't want to kiss her dad goodbye or goodnight. sad but true...
