why does Matt Deamon kill Mark ????

hey friends, I understood the whole movie but this part why does Matt kill Mark ... what was the reason behind it ..?? If anyone who understood please respond ..

matt damon kills jack because he found out he was an fbi informant. matt helped jack through the whole movie, but once he found out that he was an fbi informant he killed he because he was afraid that the fbi knew about him being corrupt. hope that helps
