I tried Squid and Chips in England when I spent some time there. It was good. A bit chewy but decent. I have eaten escargo and found that to be really good! I was very pleasantly suprised. What about you , Have you tried anything that you would not deem as normal food? What did you think of it?

Well I love squid (a.k.a. Calamari) YUMMMMMMY!! I've also tried escargo, but was not a fan.
Lets see though, strangest food I have ever tried?? Hmm...I'd have to say Ramaki. I know lots of people love it (my mom included) but to me its a strange mixture..I wasn't a huge fan of that either. It's chicken liver and a water chestnut wrapped in bacon.

Not a lot as I've only become a bit more adventurous in recent years, but possibly mozzarella wrapped in a lemon leaf stands out. The gob of mozzarella was so slimy that I thought I was going to be ill and the lemon leaf was impossible to chew. I wouldn't try it again!
