India victorious over the West Indies!!!!

A good victory. India getting closer to finalizing its best 11. Now should stick with Uthappa and Ganguly as the openers. No point in giving Sehwag any more chances as opener even if it is a less important game. Seems like the bowling slots are also grabbed by Zaheer, Agarkar and Munaf. The 4th bowler might be one of the spinners. Pathan may not get a place unless India intends to go in with 5 bowlers for the matches.

The win against the Westindies might have increased the confidence level of the indian team.sure it will be reflected in the upcoming matches.But sehwag failure and his form is a big concern to the management.Uthappa is emerging as a good opener and can be relayed on him to open the innings with sachin instead of Sehwag.Because early fall of wickets will always increase panic in the minds of the batsman.

yes I was about to post a discussion about the same but then I saw yours and decided to give a response to it.will India was hardly tested in this warmup match and so I am not very pleased although they had that great win.but my major worry there is the way the other opener played. he again scored a duck which is very frustrating for everybody. The whole nation is expecting you to perform when you give us this. Really I think he is about to end his career if he keeps on playing like this. Instead of using the opportunity which the selectors gave him by selecting him in the World Cup although he was running a horrible patch of bad form he is not utilising it and I guess that this continuous then maybe he will miss out the tournament and a player who is performing better than him will be included in the final 11 and I think that is what should be done instead of playing such players.

india defeated the west indies in thumping fashion in their second and final warm up game for the world cup

Yeah it was very impressive win for India over west indies. But one should not froget it was only a warmup game but the form of our key bowlers is heartening. What was heartening was they bowled with lot of discipline and imagination on pitch that had little assistance for them. Zaheer, agarkar, munaf all bowled well. Even pathan in patches bowled well. Then chasing such small total, uthappa & kartik batted well to chase down the total & give india a thumping victory. Though sehwag failed as usual which was hardly surprising. I feel after doing well in the two practise games, Indian team must be on high & really confident of doing very well in world cup now.
