Can someone explain the ! rating, please?

I found a post that I felt was offensive. I clicked on the ! and it thanks me for reporting it. Am I meant to fill in the comments box for it to be reported? Or is it already reported? If so, what's the comments box for? *confuzzled* Help, please! I just don't understand that feature!

Didn't it let you fill in the reasons for reporting in that box? I haven't used that feature in a while now and wonder what's changed. Try doing it again or if you can't let me know what it is you are trying to report so I can give it a try too.

Yeah, it did. The fact that there was a comments box confused me. lol. I got confused because it says that it's been reported, but then there's a comments box afterwards! I would have thought it would show the comments box first, then tell you it had been reported once you had put the comments in!
Thanks for the offer! I'll figure this site out eventually! lol.

I hope I can help you with this problem to some degree as I am a new user myself! When you find something offensive, inappropriate, or that appears to be spam, you can select the exclamation point to report the abuse. The comment boxes that are made available are for you to describe what kind of abuse was posted and/or why you found it offensive, inappropriate or whatever your complaint may be. I'm sure it is important to include this information so that the admin of MyLot can keep it running smoothly. Hope this helps!

Thank you! That makes a whole lot of sense, now I think about it! I just got confused because the comments box came after it said it had reported it. I thought it would say that it had been reported AFTER I had commented, not before! lol. I'm a slow learner here. I need "L" plates on this site!

Look at the right. You see + - !. If you find the response is good, give it a+ rating. If you find the post is offensive you can either give it a - rating or report abuse by using !. If you have chosen! a comment box appears in which you should explain why you find the response abusive.

Hey freind,its just for commenting responses you got on your discussion as well to others also,not compulsory thing ,as here you can make money just by answering discussions on mylot, and starting new discussions too, infact you can boost your earning by uploading photos, so keep posting quality responses, keep searching good discussions about which you know something and can answer, strictly avoid one liner posts,best luck and happy earning!!!...cheers!!

To speed things up, you have to enter your reason for reporting in the box. That's all. ;-)
